TIPS FOR REMOTE WORKING
The implementation of a “state of emergency” and, in some cases, optional quarantines has forced companies to rediscover “remote working”. Now, with the huge evolution of technology and broadband, companies are rediscovering it with a different perspective, helping to implement new working models and looking for solutions for the post-pandemic.
At The Venture Builder, we always used this type of tools and now, more than ever, cannot leave them out: Trello, Skype, WhatsApp, Hang-Outs, Google Drive, and, of course, the “old” email.
Here are some tips for remote working:
► Get ready as if you were to work;
► Follow the same schedule you have in the office and the usual coffee break or other forms of relaxation;
► For those who are used to working in open space, background noise is a source of concentration. Put on music or keep the TV with surround sound;
► Keep yourself connected to your team. Give preference to the video, to have personal contact with your colleagues;
► Establish clear boundaries between work and leisure, especially if you have children around.
